Below is a list of the courses (with brief description) I'll be teaching in the winter 2012-2 term. I will add more specific info for each course in the coming weeks.

For those who are serious about completing their English Composition courses in one term and online, I'm offering a *fast-track* option as follows:

Session 2: Jan 5 - Feb 29, 2012
ENC 1101 #420917
Online only, Writing About Food
Books:
  • A Writer's Reference with Strategies for Online Learners by Diana Hacker and Nancy Sommers (Students will have the option to purchase EITHER the physical book or the eBook.)
  • Choice Cuts by Mark Kurlansky

Session 4: Mar 12 - May 2, 2012
ENC 1102 #420918
Online only, Writing About the Memoir/Creative Nonfiction

  • Persepolis: The Story of a Childhood by Marjane Satrapi
  • A Writer's Reference by Diana Hacker and Nancy Sommers (book or eBook option) OR any reference book students may have from their ENC 1101 classes
If you'd like to participate in this *fast track* option, make sure you register for BOTH courses at the same time; otherwise, you risk not finding a spot in the ENC 1102.
